Beginning my career in Washington D.C. set me on an unexpected path, working with non-profits, unions and political organizations that forever shaped the foundation of my career. I’m forever grateful and constantly seeking opportunities that work towards the great good for individuals that might not often have a voice.

Project:

STOP DEPORTATION

AFL-CIO

Overview:

The AFL-CIO was ready to make a bold statement to the government to stop separating families and workers, specifically over citizenship and visa issues. The group built on personal stories that were displayed on a large outdoor display that was over 15 stories high, giving a voice to those being silently stuck down.

Role in project:

Developed the branding and collateral for “Stop Deportation” media blitz that drew attention to administrative relief for immigrant workers and families. I designed and branded the “Stop Deportations” outdoor display and built social media graphics to support the effort.

project:

Rebuild Nepal

Overview:

On April 25, 2015 a massive 7.8 magnitude earthquake stuck Nepal, devastating the capitol Katmandu and countless villages in surrounding areas. The country was in need of help and specially the smaller communities that were not receiving national funding. This need was seen first hand by two friends living in Nepal and in turn together we developed a fundraiser to help two villages. Together we were able to raise about 13k to provide materials to go directly to those in need of materials to rebuild. Rebuild Nepal Together was founded and helped countless Nepal citizens in remote towns.

Role in project:

After my two close friends let me know if the situation, together we came up with a plan to raise funds to support and fund the project. I worked to develop a brand and style guide to help tell the story to share with individuals looking to help. Utilizing photographs, stories and video we were able to visit the villages and directly see the impact of the donations.
